Rosebery NSW Australia

The former site at 23-55 Rothschild Avenue, Rosebery was once a large industrial precinct distinguished during the inter-war development of Rosebery. A collection of factories and buildings located on Crewe Avenue and Rothschild Avenue were associated with the production of confectionery during the mid-twentieth century and became affectionately known as the ‘Confectionery Precinct’.

The proposed multi residential development comprises 478 dwellings. The materiality of the proposed is informed by the former use of the area, masonry and brick for texture, precast elements and metal. Materiality, scale and form is responsive to the existing and future desired character of the area. The building consists of a number of components which promote the buildings purpose and amenity for the end user.
