Hamish has been a practicing Architect for 25 years. His experience ranges from high-end bespoke houses, through adaptive re-use, heritage, education and public art projects, to medium scale residential and mixed-use precinct developments.

As SJB’s People & Culture Specialist, he supports our studio’s talented team in the areas of career development, procedures and guides, studio support and assistance with policy refinement and recruitment.

Hamish contributes to industry initiatives including the Australian Institute of Architect’s Large Practice Forum, the ACA’s Mental Wellbeing Forum and the 30 under 30 mentoring program for the Australian Design Review.

His passion is Architecture and putting into practice the conditions that best support creative people in all aspects of their work and life.
