Celebrating 40 Years

November 2017

Last Thursday, SJB hosted the Oliver Lane Party at its Melbourne Studio. It was a memorable evening of fantastic food, wine and great music to celebrate 40 years in practice and the recent move to our city laneway location.

With more than 200 design professionals in attendance, the event was supported by a brilliant, Asian-fusion inspired menu by Lucy Liu, projection art by Jake Stollery (which saw our warehouse-style studio in an array of pink and purple) and excellent music by DJ Katt Niall which kept us dancing late into the night.

On the night founding director, Michael Bialek said “We were immensely proud to share this night with our clients and staff. What we have achieved over the four decades is due to the support of many people and this was in part our way of thanking them,” said Michael Bialek.“

Interior design director Andrew Parr said “Over the last 40 years SJB has been at the forefront of great design. Tonight is really about celebrating the achievements of the past and building a solid future.”

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us in this celebration and to those who have been part of the SJB story so far.
