July 2018

SJB is delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Haines and Elle Harrington as Associates of SJB Planning’s Melbourne office.

The appointment of Elle and Adam as Associates reflect the invaluable contribution they have made to SJB Planning. Both have a wealth of experience in local statutory planning systems across metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria and the United Kingdom. This experience has provided a strong grasp of planning legislation and policy implementation.

With the benefit of extensive local government experience at Cardinia, Whitehorse and Boroondara Councils, Elle and Adam’s expertise spans a diverse range of planning project contexts and typologies, as demonstrated with the successful realisation of a wide range of complex projects across Victoria.

They have demonstrated their passion for facilitating positive urban renewal outcomes and pride themselves on their strong professional relationships, communication and negotiation skills, as well as creative approaches to ensuring timely and coordinated planning approvals for our valued clients.

“It has been a fantastic experience making the transition to private sector consultancy over the past 12 months, in particular embracing a diversified role where you are truly invested in achieving positive and rewarding urban renewal outcomes,” says Adam.

As Associates, their leadership skills and planning expertise will strengthen the SJB Planning Melbourne firm’s offer to our clients and the industry.

“Being able to work with such a vast array of clients to help build Melbourne and Victoria into a better living environment gives me purpose and drive to deliver the best outcomes not only for my clients but the community more broadly,” says Elle.

We are very proud of all Elle and Adam have achieved, along with all the members of our highly skilled and valued team. The future is bright at SJB Planning.
