A single level space was created in response to the masculine and tenacious context in which the residence exists. The angled façade provided a signature inspiration for the custom joinery, while the monochromatic palate, luxury finishes and colourful hues provided a level of depth and personality.
Upon entry, a cedar clad hallway illuminates a selection of artworks, linking the apartment’s communal and private zones. The raw concrete ceiling grounds the kitchen and living zones, with concealed LED lighting washing its surface. Comprising of 2PAC paint, smoked grey glass and a solid timber breakfast bar, the kitchen draws on its sharp angles and colour-blocking. Overlooking a vibrant Turkish floor rug and graphic artwork, the living zone asserts its dominance within the apartment as the centre point for entertaining.
The master suite softly merges the bedroom and bathroom zone, through soft metallic sheers and steel framework. Japanese mosaics, polished plaster, cedar and silk rugs give this apartment the softness and warmth it requires to become a home.
